Your work environment at EXP
In this role you will be based out of our Huntsville, Ontario Office.
Responsibilities Include
- Participate and perform design tasks including AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting in the design of infrastructure projects including watermains, storm and sanitary sewers, grading, and storm water management.
- Support the design project manager to liaise with clients, regulatory authorities, and other project stakeholders to guide projects through the approval processes.
- Collaborate with the design project manager on project schedules and budgets.
- Collaborate on fundamentals of detail design of Civil/Siteworks infrastructure work and project management.
- Oversee, document, review, and assess contractor’s compliance with contractual requirements.
- Take accurate and detailed measurements of all work performed by the contractor to ensure accurate payments for work performed.
- Perform Contract Administrator and Inspection tasks in preparing various site reports.
- Undergraduate or Graduate degree in Civil Engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience.
- Knowledge of Civil 3D.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
