Join our Personal Debt Solutions team as a Junior Insolvency Analyst on our Proposals team, where you'll play a key role in supporting the following responsibilities:

Your Opportunity
Join our Personal Debt Solutions team as a Junior Insolvency Analyst on our Proposals team, where you'll play a key role in supporting the following responsibilities:
- Reviewing consumer proposals for acceptance by creditors or whether proposal negotiations are required
- Assisting with negotiating with the debtor and creditors on amendments to the consumer proposals
- Assisting with chairing meetings of creditors and drafting minutes of the meeting
- Responding to debtors’ inquiries in a timely manner
- Answering questions relating to the consumer proposal
- Liaising with team members to ensure efficient, diligent, and timely administration of the consumer proposal
- Participating in ongoing training to improve technical knowledge
- Completing other duties as assigned

- You grow your expertise through learning and professional development.
- Post-secondary education is an asset
- One or more years of relevant work experience in a financial service environment; Insolvency, Banking, Finance, Credit Counseling or other relevant areas
- Previous insolvency experience (asset but not required)
- Great interpersonal skills to deal with team members, debtors, and creditors
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills to respond to different situations
- Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Takes personal ownership and responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word & Excel
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- A team player who can also work independently
