With a strong commitment to people and performance, they are focused on continued growth and are currently seeking a Junior Recruiter to join their team and help attract top talent.

Position Summary

Our client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Recruiter to support their talent acquisition efforts across a variety of departments, including sales, operations, warehouse, and yard. The ideal candidate will assist in managing job postings, sourcing candidates, scheduling interviews, and helping ensure a smooth and positive recruitment process from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support full-cycle recruitment for entry- and mid-level roles in sales, yard, and administrative teams
  • Create and post job descriptions on various platforms and company channels
  • Proactively source and engage candidates through job boards, social media, and direct outreach
  • Screen resumes and conduct initial phone interviews to assess candidate fit
  • Coordinate interview scheduling with hiring managers
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
  • Represent the company brand professionally at job fairs and recruitment events
  • Assist with onboarding and orientation support for new hires

Qualifications:

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in recruitment or HR support (internships or co-op placements considered)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools is an asset
  • Interest in or knowledge of the building materials or construction industry is a plus
