Contract type: Full time
Simons’ exclusive collections come to life thanks to a network of dedicated partners and the seamless coordination of product development, raw materials, and production. As Lead Coordinator, Product Development and Production, you’ll play a key role at the heart of our execution strategy.

Overseeing specific categories and product types, you’ll be responsible for driving the progression of our collections—from initial development to final delivery. By leading a dedicated team and working closely with both internal and external partners, you’ll ensure our products are delivered on time, at the highest quality, and at the best possible cost. Your rigour, hands-on leadership, and strong sense of optimization will make all the difference.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organize team priorities and provide hands-on leadership to keep operations running smoothly
  • Oversee the development and production of assigned exclusive product categories in close collaboration with internal teams
  • Strategically assign styles to suppliers based on capabilities, costs, and timelines
  • Optimize calendars and processes to accelerate speed-to-market
  • Negotiate production costs, anticipate risks, and capture optimization opportunities
  • Manage raw material commitments and follow-ups to shorten ordering cycles
  • Ensure quality standards, deadlines, and final deliveries—including required documentation—are met
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships, resolve critical issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our manufacturing base

Requirements

  • A university degree in fashion, supply chain, business administration, or a related field—or equivalent experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in sourcing, production, or vendor management, preferably in the fashion or home sector
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills in both French and English to work effectively with all stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
  • A collaborative and proactive approach in a fast-paced and evolving environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed

Benefits

  • A telemedicine service and Employee and Family Assistance Program
  • Group insurance plan and RRSP
  • Up to 40% off Simons purchases
