In this role, you will impact the overall performance of the field service team, ensuring that customer needs are met promptly and effectively while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- As part of the Field Service team, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Monitor and analyze field service performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on building automation equipment
- Perform system upgrades and modifications as required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of solutions
- Provide training and support to customers on the operation of building automation systems
- This role may require travel up to 10% across Newfoundland.
YOU MUST HAVE
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of proven experience in building automation or controls field service or in a similar role.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license.
- Post-Secondary education in HVAC, Controls, Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to building automation.
- Certifications in building automation systems (e.g., Niagara, Tridium).
- Strong technical knowledge and understanding of relevant technologies.
- Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in driving process improvements and implementing best practices.
- Ability to drive change and innovation.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
