Learning for Life Scholarship 2024 - #113201

As a proud supporter of continued education, Cambrian Credit Union presents the Learning for Life scholarship award. This award is offered to Cambrian members who will be attending a recognized post-secondary institution in Manitoba.

For the 2024-2025 academic year, Cambrian will grant a total of $6,500 to students who show exemplary leadership in the following areas:

• Community Champion/Academic Excellence (Award amount: $2,500)
• Arts & Culture (Award amount: $1,000)
• Community Care (Award amount: $1,000)
• Education (Award amount: $1,000)
• Health & Wellness (Award amount: $1,000)

Award recipients will be asked to provide a photo of themselves that we will use on social media and our website.

Cambrian Credit Union is proud to support its members throughout their learning journey. Through the Learning for Life scholarship award, we have provided over $199,000 to students pursuing post-secondary education.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible to receive the Learning for Life scholarship award, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Must be a member of Cambrian Credit Union to apply.
• Must be attending a recognized post-secondary institution for the 2024-2025 academic year. If award winners are on a waiting list for a program, the award money will be released upon proof of admission.
• Open to students of all ages, at any year within their program.
• Must be a resident of Manitoba.
• Must provide a recent transcript, high school or post-secondary, and proof of admission to a post-secondary institution in Manitoba.
• Employees of Cambrian Credit Union are not eligible for the award. Family members of Cambrian employees can apply, but this must be disclosed on your application.
• Award winners must agree to provide a graduating photo or headshot that will be used to promote the award on Cambrian’s social media accounts and website.
