Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP is currently seeking a Legal Assistant to work in our Montreal Office. This full-time permanent legal assistant role will provide support to lawyers in our Litigation practice. This position will play a key role in handling administrative items. We are seeking a highly organized professional individual with excellent client service skills, who thrives in a fast-paced, high performance culture.

You Will Be Focussing On
- Transcribe/modify correspondence, agreements, contracts, proceedings, reports and other dictated or handwritten material
- Perform administrative duties related to the position, including time charges, expense reports and billing
- Assume responsibility for the agenda and ensure follow-up
- Maintain filing up to date, including file indexing
- Make photocopies, transmit faxes, digitalize documents and perform any other duties requested
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a legal assistant in litigation
- Excellent knowledge of French and English grammar
- Good knowledge of Outlook
- Excellent knowledge of Word, including its advanced features
- Good knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Organized and able to manage priorities
- Team player, versatile and able to work under pressure
- Autonomous, proactive and able to work quickly
- Bilinguism
