Job Summary

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is a cross functional. The incumbent will perform the duties in some of the functional areas within the Distribution Centre as assigned by the Manager. The functional areas include: order picking, wrapping, receiving, put away and shipping.

Shift Timings - 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Location - Unit # 100 - 787 Cliveden Delta (British Columbia) V3M 6C7

Core Job Responsibilities

  • Using MHE to Pick, Put away, Replen, Load & any other tasks assigned by Supervisor
  • Complete paperwork as outlined in training documents.
  • Unload/load materials and merchandise from incoming/outgoing vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
  • Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
  • Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
  • Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance.
  • Safe Handling of MHE and surrounding – while operating them.
  • Comply with company policies and legal guidelines of operating MHE.
  • Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facility.

  • Excellent work ethic and a positive attitude

  • Ability to work as part of a team with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to lift heavy objects to 50 LBS
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer applications
  • Pay careful attention on the job
  • Follow instructions precisely
  • Sit, walk or stand for prolonged periods of time
  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Exposure to computers and/or the ability to learn warehouse software
  • Certified forklift operator required for the Warehouse Put-Away and Picking and/or Let Down/Replenishment function
  • Ability to work overtime as required
