Job Summary:

The primary duties will include daily repairs, scheduled preventative maintenance and installation of new equipment.

Please note - our work environment is safety sensitive and will require the successful applicant to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug evaluation.

Job Responsibilities:

• Investigate mechanical issues and develop corrective action plans


• Troubleshoot and repair machinery and equipment


• Install and maintain mechanical and hydraulic systems


• Operation of basic machine tools (lathe, drill press, etc.)


• Use of welding equipment, hand tools and power tools


• Complete required preventative maintenance and documentation


• Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety Regulations


• Maintain computer maintenance management system

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Valid Industrial Millwright Red Seal or Equivalent


• Minimum of 3 years related experience


• Excellent verbal, written and communication skills


• Ability to work in a team environment


• Plan, schedule and prioritize effectively in conjunction with production and management


• Must be able to communicate in both written and spoken English


• Proven Understanding of a “Safety First working methodology”

Hourly Rate: $45.90. Hourly compensation is based on the current collective agreement. We offer a competitive benefits package, uniforms, safety boots and PPE.
