In this role you will:
- Troubleshoot and repair diverse, specialized equipment relating to production, utility, and processing
- Work with and support other trade disciplines, creating a team atmosphere
- Take the lead on projects and new equipment installations as required
- Use your existing welding and machinist skills, and learn new skills through cross training
- Work closely with Process Engineering and Operations to optimize equipment performance
- Multi-skilled background including experience in electronics, electrical, mechanical, structural, and piping
- Trade Millwright ticket, dual trade considered an asset
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in operation and maintenance of related equipment
- Knowledge of compressed air, vacuum pumps, and HVAC equipment, as well as servo drives, pneumatics, and HMI controls
- An aptitude for learning and understanding operations processes
- A collaborative approach towards problem solving
