Job Information
This position is accountable for the efficient and effective operation of Prosper NWT's marketing and communications unit within the context of relevant legislation, regulations, policies, standards, and strategic plans. The Manager provides strategic leadership to the CEO, senior management and staff on marketing and communications supporting Prosper NWT's mandate, goals and objectives, programs and services. The Manager is also responsible for providing expert marketing and communications advice to the public, including entrepreneurs, businesses, and subsidiary companies of Prosper NWT. The incumbent ensures the decisions, directions and requirements of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) are communicated throughout Prosper NWT. They also provide research, background material, strategic planning and communications support to the CEO and senior management.

Typically attained by.
Completion of a Bachelor's level degree (such as, but not limited to: Business Administration, Public Administration, Communications, Journalism) and five years of relevant experience in the field of business, marketing, communications, or public affairs, including one year of supervisory experience. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
