ICE NGX Inc, is looking for a Market Operator who will provide gas scheduling, reporting, index verification, price settlements and trade support to the ICE NGX customer base, numbering over 300 companies.

ICE NGX Inc, is looking for a Market Operator who will provide gas scheduling, reporting, index verification, price settlements and trade support to the ICE NGX customer base, numbering over 300 companies.
Responsibilities
- Nominate, schedule, and confirm all physical transactions to the applicable natural gas pipelines and Environmental markets registries
- Operate and support Canadian Electricity markets
- Field incoming customer calls pertaining to trading and clearing issues as relating to ICE NGX’s proprietary clearing software and/or ICE trading and administration software used in the support of the 300+ customers of ICE NGX.
- Develop and distribute statistical data queries as requested by clients of ICE NGX.
- Provide support to ICE NGX internal customers.
- Verify accuracy of ICE NGX invoices and published natural gas indices
- Monitor the ICE NGX products on the ICE trading system and day-to-day market trading activity, providing settlements and statistical daily summaries
- 2+ years’ experience in physical natural gas or electricity control\operations preferred or 2-4 years’ equivalent experience in a related field
- Working knowledge or training in the natural gas, Electricity, and Environmental industry, specifically in the area of physical natural gas scheduling, gas control, help desk support and pipeline nominations preferred
- Analytical and organizational business-oriented skill set
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and act independently as required
- Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel, MS Word and MS PowerPoint
