MLTs work in a supportive, team-based environment and perform a variety of duties within the assigned discipline department. Your responsibilities will include:

Shuswap Lake Hospital is a 42-bed hospital in the Thompson-Cariboo-Shuswap health service area. Located in Salmon Arm, B.C the hospital offers services including surgical, inpatient, obstetrics and 24-hour emergency.
Salmon Arm lies in the heart of BC, nestled between the beautiful mountains and hills of the Shuswap Region. Located right on the serene Shuswap Lake, Salmon Arm is midway between Calgary and Vancouver (around 5hrs by car in either direction) and Kelowna international airport is a short 1.5hr drive away. About The Job
MLTs work in a supportive, team-based environment and perform a variety of duties within the assigned discipline department. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing routine and/or complex tests, utilizing manual procedures and automated instruments
- Entering data into the Lab Information System (LIS), related systems and programs
- Validating and reporting test results
- Maintaining instruments, preparing solutions and control agents
- Contributing to training, evaluation and improvement programs
