As a key player in the financial services marketplace of Northern Ontario we are excited to announce that we are currently seeking a part-time Member Solutions Specialist.

The Member Solutions Specialist creates a positive and professional first impression by acting as the first point of contact for members who access Northern’s services and products through our phone and digital communication channels. The successful candidate will market Northern’s products and services within clearly defined policies and procedures. They will promote, up-sell and cross-sell the complete range of lending and investment vehicles with an emphasis on consumer loans, mortgages, credit card products, lines of credit, and deposit and retail branch term investments (excluding mutual funds). As a knowledgeable team member, the Member Solutions Specialist is also responsible for teaching, supporting and directing members to use self-service delivery channels, with the goal of enhancing our members’ overall experience by ensuring they receive seamless and high-quality service at all times.

Preferred Candidates Will Possess The Following Qualifications

  • High school diploma and equivalent banking or sales experience.
  • Knowledge of basic Credit Union products, services and systems an asset.
  • Proficient with of Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to efficiently organize work and time to meet daily deadlines.
  • Drive to work toward a standard of excellence, while reaching and exceeding goals as a self-starter and in support of their team
  • A commitment to continuous learning within the scope of the duties to keep pace with changes relative to the job function, including, but not limited to, technology, processes, policies and product knowledge.

Hourly Rate: Starting at $25.95
