In this existing role, you’ll be at the forefront of delivering expert occupational hygiene and health & safety consulting services to our valued clients. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you’ll help organizations protect their people and ensure compliance all while building your own expertise in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Pinchin is seeking a Project Technologist to join our Occupational Health and Safety team in Richmond. The role reports to the Operations Manager.

Department Overview

Pinchin’s Occupational Health & Safety team is committed to helping organizations create safer, healthier workplaces. We provide expert consulting in occupational hygiene, health and safety compliance, and risk management across diverse industries. From exposure monitoring and safety audits to developing programs and policies, our team ensures clients meet regulatory requirements while protecting their people. With a focus on quality, collaboration, and innovation, we deliver practical solutions that make a real difference.

Your Role and Action

  • Conduct worker exposure monitoring surveys in support of occupational hygiene assessments at a large variety of different work sites throughout the province
  • Assist with developing various types of health and safety documentation, such as exposure control plans, health and safety programs, policies and safe work/operating procedures (i.e. confined space, fall protection, respiratory protection etc.)
  • Prepare technical reports
  • Conduct construction safety inspections and audits
  • Liaise with clients to ensure needs, goals and objectives are addressed and met
  • Build and maintain positive client relationships

What You’ll Bring To Pinchin

  • Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Hygiene, or related field
  • 6 months to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Working knowledge of health & safety legislation
  • Strong technical writing, verbal communication, and client service skills
  • Ability to learn quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Valid driver’s license, insurance, and personal vehicle for regional travel
  • Flexibility to work outside core hours and occasional weekends
