Operations Administrator - Vancouver

PI Financial Corp. is an independent, full service investment dealer with offices across Canada. We are looking for an energetic individual with strong organizational skills to join our self-clearing Operations team. Reporting to the Team Leader of Securities Services, the Operations Administrator will be primarily responsible for assisting the Securities Services team in their day-to-day management of incoming and outgoing physical securities and additional administrative duties as required. The role requires a dynamic, detail-oriented individual who is willing to learn and grow within the organization.

  • Preparation of special mailings such as prospectuses or mailouts to clients as required.
  • Document scanning and filing.
  • Accurate and timely processing of courier delivery/receipt logs in compliance with CIRO regulations.
  • Tracking and reconciliation of courier transactions.
  • Receiving in and delivering out physical stock certificates or DRS receipts.
  • Depositing stocks certificates or DRS receipts etc. to Canadian Depository for Securities (CDS) or the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC).
  • Cross train on other job functions within the department as required.
  • General administrative duties as required.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to prioritize and handle a variety of tasks concurrently to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
