We’re looking for Operations Manager to:
- develop and manage operational processes, controls and infrastructure for Wealth Management Canada Operations.
- understand and serve as the point of escalation for daily operational and trade support functions. Oversight includes, the management of staff performing Account onboarding, Asset transfers, Security data maintenance, cash management, trade settlements, corporate actions and tax reporting capabilities.
- manage the success of key operational partnerships with custodians and vendors.
- explore and implement key risk controls around all operational processes.
- have regular touch points with internal and external key stakeholders.
- provide leadership and people management along: sourcing, on-boarding, development, retention and succession planning.
- strategic regional impact around operational effectiveness, process improvement and people management.
You will be working in our Wealth Management Canada team, located in the Toronto head office. In this role you will work with cross functional teams across Canada and Risk experts within the Americas region.

Your expertise
- 5+ years of demonstrated Operations Management/leadership experience at a financial institution.
- exceptional problem solving, partnering, decision making and critical thinking.
- current on local governing regulations in the trade settlements, payments and tax areas. Global regulation knowledge is a nice to have.
- excellent communication, presentation, and inter-personal skills with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Bank.
- represent Operations across various forums, working groups and committees effectively.
- demonstrate exceptional emotional maturity in decision making situations while keeping client service and risk management as priority
