What You’ll Do
The Operations Coordinator will support the execution of new initiatives, projects and growth plans. In this role, no two day will ever be the same, the Operations Coordinator will support the Head of Operations in implementing strategies for retail operations and customer experience. This role involves creating high-standard operational guides, managing communications, coordinating store openings, testing new systems, and providing administrative support to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
Purpose of the role
You'll be working closely with the Head of Operations to help bring the retail operations and customer experience strategy to life. A big part of your role will involve creating and maintaining high-quality guides and policies for retail operations. You’ll also be supporting Partner-facing communications—things like packs, news posts, and tasks. When it comes to new store openings, you’ll be the one keeping everything on track—managing planners and trackers to make sure resources are in place and everything runs smoothly. You’ll also get involved in testing new systems like patient management and scheduling tools, always with an eye on how they impact both colleagues and customers.
Key Responsibilities
To really make an impact, you’ll want to understand the Specsavers customer journey inside and out. That way, you can support other teams as they roll out new in-store initiatives. Staying connected with field teams—like Regional Relationship Managers, Clinical Support Consultants, and Regional Training Managers—will help you stay on top of Partner feedback and any issues that come up. You’ll also be managing the team’s budget tracker to keep costs accurate, and providing admin support to the wider Central Operations team. And finally, you’ll be encouraged to bring fresh ideas to the table and share best practices to keep improving how things are done—all while keeping the Specsavers’ values and behaviours front and centre!
