Avalon Holographics
Date: 1 day ago
City: St. John's, NL
Contract type: Full time
At Avalon Holographics, we’re developing technology that helps people understand complex systems and solve real-world problems.
We’re building advanced holographic visualization systems that combine optics, hardware, and software to enable shared, real-time 3D understanding of complex data supporting digital twin environments, simulation, collaboration, and real-time decision-making across industries such as healthcare and defense.
We’re always interested in connecting with talented Optics Designers to help develop the optical systems at the heart of our holographic displays. You’ll work on custom optical designs, simulations, component selection, calibration, and hands-on testing, collaborating with technical teams to improve display performance and bring new designs to life.
If you enjoy solving complex optical challenges, experimenting with new approaches, and working hands-on to turn ideas into real systems, we’d love to hear from you!
What You’ll Do
At Avalon Holographics, we are committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment where everyone feels valued, respected, and supported. If you require accommodation during the recruitment process, please let us know. We are dedicated to providing reasonable accommodation to ensure that all candidates have the opportunity to fully participate and thrive.
We encourage individuals from historically underrepresented groups to apply, even if you don’t meet every qualification listed. Your unique skills, perspectives, and experiences are valuable to us, and we’re excited to learn how you can contribute to our mission.
Avalon Holographics is an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are dedicated to fostering an environment where everyone, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other aspect of identity, can succeed.
