Pharmasave #400 is looking for a full-time Pharmacy Assistant to join our team in Prince Albert-Central Ave, Saskatchewan.

Patient Focused Care Responsibilities
- Support pharmacists and pharmacy technicians in providing high-quality patient care
- Greet customers and answer phone calls in a professional manner
- Assist with entering, labelling, and packaging prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist or pharmacy technician
- Accurately count, measure, and package medications according to established protocols
- Receive and stock medication and supply shipments, monitor inventory levels, rotate stock, and support inventory audits
- Keep the pharmacy area clean and organized; safely dispose of expired medications and hazardous waste in accordance with regulations
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, faxing, scanning, and assist with insurance claims and prescription transfers
- Assist with daily pharmacy operations and perform other duties as assigned
- Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience as a Pharmacy Assistant in a retail pharmacy setting, with a foundational understanding of pharmacy operations and business practices.
- Highly skilled in the use of Kroll, with strong accuracy and efficiency in prescription data entry.
- Completion of a pharmacy assistant program is an asset.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to thrive in a team environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods and occasional lifting of boxes/containers
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- 40 hours per week.
- The store is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- This role requires working one (1) Saturday shift each month.
