JOB DESCRIPTION
River Rock Casino Resort is currently recruiting for a customer service individual who will be responsible in maintaining the Pool and Health Club. Ensuring guests have a safe and enjoyable aquatic and exercise experience.
Other Duties and responsibilities for our Pool Attendant will include:
- Greets guests and orients them to the facilities
- Issues towels to guests
- Is aware of how many guests are in the pool and ensures all rules are being observed
- Maintains a clean area in both the pool and health club. Identifies and is aware of all chemicals related to pool operations and maintenance. Reports deficiencies to the Manager, Front Office
- Vacuums the pool on a pre-determined schedule
- Is responsible for the cleaning, folding and stocking towels in the pool area
- Secures & opens the patio area ensuring all patio furniture is clean and properly placed
- Liaises and communicates effectively with all appropriate operational departments
- Develops and cultivates strong working relationships with all stakeholders (guests, ownership and employees)
- Ensures compliance with licensing laws, health and safety and other statutory regulations
- Performs other duties as assigned or directed.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills
- Customer service experience
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects at one time
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Competent swimmer
- Interest in health and fitness an asset
- Ability to provide leadership in a team environment and motivating, developing, and sharing in the successes of the team
- Possess a high level of honesty and integrity
- Serving It Right Certification or the ability to achieve a Serving It Right Certification
- Ability to successfully obtain a Criminal Record Check
- Ability to exceed internal and external customer expectations through timely, effective and service oriented communication
- A commitment to continually increase your knowledge of our products and services in order to offer exceptional experiences to our guests
- A willingness to learn, develop and achieve new skills for personal and professional development
