Hybrid Work Model

This position is located in our Victoria, BC office. You will have the flexibility to work part of the time on-campus and part of the time off-campus. The requirement for in-office presence is a minimum of 40% of your schedule in a month. Additional requirements are determined by the role functions and operational needs of each business area.

We are seeking a Portfolio Solutions Lead to join our team in VICTORIA, British Columbia, Canada.

The Portfolio Solutions Lead supports the evolution of the enterprise by providing leadership and direction around the development, implementation and evaluation of major long-term projects delivered through multiple project teams integral to our strategic goals. The lead oversees portfolio operations, including governance, risk management, and project delivery, ensuring the effective application of best practices tailored to organizational needs.

This role is the thought leader for the portfolio, project and resource management methodologies and tools, providing transparency into key performance indicators (KPIs) while fostering continuous improvement to enhance the branch's ability to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications:

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration or a related discipline.
• Five years of experience at a senior level leading major projects of large scale and complexity that have multiple project delivery components.
• An equivalent combination of education, training and relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience leading and managing complex portfolios in excess of 14M CAD/annually.
• Experience implementing and supporting project management offices including portfolio and project management (PPM) related process, tools and integrated systems to enable portfolio planning, full project lifecycle management, project resource and project financial management.
• Experience managing relationships with senior level stakeholders and leading consultation sessions.
• Experience leading, directing and coaching multi-disciplinary senior level professionals, including project managers and/or managers in the development and implementation of complex projects.
• Experience with Scrum-agile practices and applying them to traditional PM processes appropriately.

Nice to have:

• Project Management Professional designation is preferred.
