Job Summary
As part of their day-to-day operations, our internal colleagues as well as retail pharmacies and institutional customers interact with multiple digital platforms within the McKesson ecosystem. Working in close collaboration across the organization and McKesson Technology, this role will be responsible for working with business stakeholders to inform, prioritize and implement the roadmap and day-to-day digital product activities related to the digital (B2B) experiences.

You will deeply engage with McKesson Canada's services, supporting its operations and assisting Retail/Institutional customers. You'll learn about customer needs, business operations, and various processes, becoming an expert and champion for the digital experience.
As part of your responsibilities, you will:
- Communicate the product vision and needs of the business to the McKesson Technology Product Management & Development teams and third parties (where necessary)
- Participate in defining goals and KPIs, contributing to building a data-driven culture and using qualitative and quantitative analysis when making key product decisions.
- Lead requirements gathering, and consultations with internal stakeholders to define their and the customer needs.
- Work internally and with partners to drive the business goals and customer success.
- Participate in creating prototypes, mock-ups, and work with Product UX/Design.
- Oversee validation session with internal users and external customers.
- Document user stories and new features for implementations.
- Maintain and refine the product backlog with the McKesson Technology Product Manager and third parties (where necessary).
- Work with the development team and third parties (where necessary) in their practices and participate in the estimation of user stories.
- Attend scrum meetings, participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives and demos, representing the client
- Write acceptance criteria and participate in the acceptance of the product enhancements.
- Demonstrate the latest iterations to internal stakeholders and customers to gather their feedback.
- Participate in customer, internal, and competitive research.
- Participate in product useability research with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Work with cross-functional teams such as design, privacy, security, account management/sales, procurement, communications, engineering, analytics, product development and other business stakeholders in the development and continued progression of the product roadmap and journey
- Leverage existing tools and identify new ones to support the engagement with McKesson Technology development teams, and partners.
- 7+ years of product management or business analysis experience or equivalent.
- Bilingualism (English / French) is required.
- Working knowledge of product development processes.
- Experience with product useability practices; knowledge of user-centered design / product practices.
- Experience in working models with internal development and third parties for development
- Experience in agile environments, but also flexible in waterfall scenarios.
- Ability to work independently and self-manage the unknowns.
- A self-starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Ability to understand and work flexibly within a complex mix of different technology platforms.
- Customer experience centric mindset focused on improving customer journey.
- Essential communication skills; both verbal and written
- Strong communicator with ability to clearly communicate product vision and expected outcomes.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and various levels across internal groups and various customer types.
- Strong interpersonal relationships
- Professionalism, confidentiality, and good judgment to work on projects at all levels of the organization.
- Understanding of design quality standards
- Strong attention to details
- Strong analytical skills
- Technical and/or development experience; in-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology
- Previous experience in retail operations, category management/ healthcare an asset
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and able to prioritize.
- Ability to work in various size teams and cross-functional environments.
- Strong understanding of the McKesson business ecosystem is a benefit but not required.
