To achieve this, we have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Product Trainer to join our team at Kardium, specializing in electrophysiology with a focus on cardiac pulsed field mapping and ablation systems. The Product Trainer will be responsible for delivering and assisting in the development of comprehensive training programs for medical professionals and Kardium clinical staff, ensuring they demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively use our advanced medical device.

Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Training Facilitation: Conduct engaging training sessions for healthcare professionals, including electrophysiologists, EP technologists, and nursing staff, on the operation, maintenance, and clinical applications of the Globe PF System.
  • Content Development: Design and create effective training materials, including manuals, presentations, online courses, and hands-on practice scenarios tailored to the needs of diverse learning styles.
  • Onboarding: Support new field clinical specialists by effectively training them on product knowledge, procedure, and customer interaction best practices related to the Globe PF System.
  • Evaluate Effectiveness: Measure the success of training initiatives through assessments, participant feedback, and performance metrics, making continuous improvements to enhance overall effectiveness.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales and marketing, to ensure that product training aligns with corporate goals and customer needs.
  • Field Support: Be available for ongoing support post-training sessions, addressing product-related queries, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining relationships with trained professionals to gather insights on product performance.

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, life sciences, nursing, or a related field. Advanced degrees will be an advantage.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in the medical device industry, ideally focusing on electrophysiology or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and engage diverse audiences.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong project management capabilities with the ability to coordinate multiple training sessions and handle logistics efficiently.
  • Certifications: Clinical certifications or training in electrophysiology or medical device technology are preferred.

Compensation

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.

As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.

  • $90,000-$115,000 (CAD Annually)
