About The Role
This position is responsible for the supporting of molding chocolate production by preparing, removing, organizing, all raw and finished materials. The Molding Line Assistant ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine.

This position is responsible for the supporting of molding chocolate production by preparing, removing, organizing, all raw and finished materials. The Molding Line Assistant ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine.
Key responsibilities
- Perform data entry and SAP entry.
- Enter recipe data according to production schedule
- Perform all assigned tasks as directed.
- Responsible for assembling containers, packaging, labeling, wrapping, set-up and clean down of Molding line.
- Follow GMP practices and maintain a clean work area.
- Responsible for any other necessary duties to assist in the packaging and warehousing of any product.
- Replace Molding Line Attendant as needed.
- Prepare raw materials to ensure line uptime.
- Communicate production information to incoming Molding Line Assistant and explains details to assure a smooth shift transition.
- Communicate on a regular basis with other co-workers, Lead Hand and with the Shift Supervisor.
- Track inventory, clean magnets and document CCP.
- Operates lift truck in a safe manner.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of production room/sanitation schedule.
- Ensure compliance to BCOS (Barry Callebaut Operating System) – TPM/Lean Manufacturing
- Perform AM standard tasks daily
- Other duties as assigned.
- Perform and document all HACCP, Quality and Safety checks.
- Ensures compliance with all food and employee Safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset.
- Demonstrated hoist operator experience.
- Demonstrated lift truck experience/certification.
- Must be able to climb stairs.
- Standing and walking for extended periods – 12-hour shifts
- Must be able to freely move around entire facility.
- Must be able to lift 55lbs.
- Pushing and pulling of 55lbs.
- Ability to work in and be exposed to heat.
