Responsibilities

  • Operate production machinery.
  • Support production operations by safely operating forklifts and other material handling equipment as needed.
  • Work safely at all times and follow plant safety and food safety procedures.
  • Conduct routine cleaning tasks to keep the production area and equipment in good working order.
  • Maintain accurate production records and reports for quality control and production tracking purposes.
  • Monitor product quality by conducting regular inspections, making necessary adjustments, and conducting quality checks.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and address challenges effectively.
  • Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and guidelines for production processes.
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education/Skills/Experience Required

  • Previous Forklift or Heavy Equipment experience an asset.
  • Be able to work independently and within a small team environment in a fast-paced environment.
  • Maintain high levels of attendance.
  • Be eager, upbeat, and have a positive attitude.
  • Previous manufacturing experience would be an asset.
  • Must be able to stand for up to 12 hours.

Pay Rate: $21.22 hourly with wage increase after 3 months.
