Production Worker

Location Lethbridge, Alberta

Position Type Operations

Salary Full-time, Hourly

Compensation $23.00/hr

Pre-employment Requirement Successful completion of pre-employment medical and reference check

About The Position

The position is a full time position. This position includes labour and possibly operating machinery (lift trucks, fork lift, hoists, and baggers). Ensure production activities are conducted in a safe manner while creating quality product in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Detailed measuring of ingredients
  • Scale Operation
  • Quality assurance
  • Lot tracking
  • Ingredient quantities as per batch sheet
  • Verifying batch sheet quantities/Run bag line
  • Housekeeping
  • General Plant Cleaning
  • All other duties required

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have a safe work attitude
  • Able to work in a team
  • Maintain a respectful and positive attitude
  • Perform the necessary tasks in a timely manner
  • Able to work in a variety of environmental conditions, hot and cold temperatures and dusty conditions.
  • Exhibit a professional image at all times; maintain a positive and respectful attitude

Education or Work Experience

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 3 Months Experience

Health and Safety

  • Work in accordance with local/provincial legislation
  • Understands and is accountable for full compliance with safety and other EHS requirements
