Pay Range
OPSEU/VHA Pay Scale Level 4A: $24.19 per hour
The role supports recruitment, screening, onboarding, and placement of volunteers based on organizational needs. It involves reviewing applications, coordinating orientations and info sessions, helping plan volunteer services, and conducting site visits.

Key Areas Of Accountability
- Works with Volunteer Supervisor to determine organization needs for various volunteer services
- Schedules and matches volunteers and supervises delivery of services
- Support volunteers and Program Supervisors/Coordinator utilizing volunteer supports
- Participates in community outreach activities including distribution of brochures, involvement in trade shows and related events.
- A Volunteer Management Certificate or a related field in the social service field combined with a minimum of 2 years experience
- Experience in volunteering and recruitment
- Working knowledge in working with diverse communities
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
- Excellent organization and team building skills
- Skilled in community outreach and public speaking
- A valid Ontario Driver's licence and use of a care
- Knowledge of the City, TTC routes, and the various components of the Agency preferred
- Computer skills in word processing and data entry
- Demonstrate efforts to continuously develop and upgrade skills
- Access to a vehicle is required
- Second language an asset
