Profile:

Reporting to the Manager Avionics Programs, the Program Manager will lead and oversee complex programs within our organization, along with providing support to the Avionics Programs Pipeline. The Program Manager will take a proactive approach and be responsible for coordinating multiple projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, managing cross-functional teams, and ensuring that all projects meet budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, plan, and execute the overall strategy for multiple related projects within the program
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment of program objectives
  • Oversee project managers and teams to ensure the successful execution of individual projects that contribute to the overall program goals
  • Manage and allocate resources effectively across the program, ensuring timely delivery and addressing potential bottlenecks
  • Identify, mitigate, and resolve risks or issues that may arise throughout the program lifecycle
  • Track program budgets, ensuring that the financials are within scope and aligned with organizational goals
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met
  • Ensure that the program’s deliverables meet quality standards, business requirements, and stakeholder expectations
  • Provide regular program updates, including progress reports, status meetings, and data analytics to leadership teams
  • Suggest and implement process improvements across program management to drive efficiencies and better outcomes


Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business or related field, (aviation, aerospace is preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in program management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role. (aviation, aerospace is preferred)
  • PMP, PgMP, or equivalent certification is highly preferred
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior management, stakeholders, and external vendors
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate complex challenges
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, JIRA, Asana, Trello) and software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
