Join our Sarnia Refinery team and help deliver turnaround and capital projects through strong project controls, reporting, and analytical insight. We’re seeking a resourceful, detail-oriented professional who can influence decisions, solve problems, and collaborate across diverse teams. Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 Annually

Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Minimum Requirements:

  • 5 years of project controls (or equivalent) experience
  • Bachelors degree in Business or Finance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, along with Power BI and other data visualization tools
  • Experience with ERP and project planning systems - Primavera, with SAP strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication, change management, non-authoritative leadership and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and support project controls for turnarounds and capital projects, providing guidance to leaders and project teams on planning, cost, schedule, analytics, and risk management from project setup through close-out
  • Lead project reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis, ensuring accurate and timely information that supports real-time decision-making and problem-solving
  • Conduct benchmarking and data analysis using internal and external sources to identify trends, draw conclusions, and support recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement in project controls processes, systems, and procedures

Location and other Key details:

  • You will work out of our Sarnia Refinery in Ontario, located at 1900 St. Clair Parkway
  • Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs
  • Our business professional roles follow internal compensation guidelines, and the pay band will be based on years of experience and scope of work
