Your role
Join our team as a Project Manager for our Toronto Business Unit!
We are looking for a Project Manager with a background in engineering / landscape architecture who is seeking the right opportunity to level up their skills in the municipal and developmental infrastructure services sector of our Toronto business unit.
You bring previous experience in leading projects varying in scope and complexity in the delivery of municipal, and private development infrastructure projects, including parks, utilities, roads, stormwater, development, or other related infrastructure projects. You've become known as a trusted advisor to your clients and have built strong, lasting relationships with senior leaders and decision makers.

- Demonstrate company values and cultural behaviors
- Lead development of Assistant Project Managers on your projects
- Delegate and empower Assistant Project Managers
- Build a personal brand
- Grow sales inside existing accounts
- Find opportunities to crossline selling in accounts you manage
- Grow your Fee Income Managed on your projects
- Manage project delivery teams to deliver the quality required by the client
- Manage implementation of the work breakdown structure
- Escalate project deliver and commercial/financial issues to Project Lead
- Responsible for implementing all work on your projects is delivered in accordance with our Quality Management System
- Responsible for Client Satisfaction
- A university degree or diploma in landscape architecture or engineering (or an equivalent combination of academic and practical experience)
- 5 - 10 years of project management experience, representing owners in the delivery of park, streetscape, municipal, and development projects
- Familiarity with the construction, contract administration, closeout, and warranty phases of infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of best practice Project Management methodologies and procedures within a PMO environment
- Effective client and stakeholder management matched with the ability to effectively influence others and successfully resolve a variety of client and technical issues.
- Detail oriented leader with the ability to work in a process driven environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills, including a working knowledge of scheduling (MS
- Project), word processing (Word) and spreadsheet (Excel) software applications
- OALA, P.Eng, and PMP designations are an asset
