The Wendy’s Canadian Supply Chain Team is looking for a Project Manager! Bring your A-game to leading projects from start to finish! You’ll keep workflows running smoothly, follow standards and compliance, and always look for ways to make things better. Collaborate with awesome cross-functional partners—from procurement and logistics to Wendy’s marketing and R&D—to make sure every product and program hits the mark. Stay ahead of challenges, solve problems with suppliers and teammates, and escalate when needed to keep costs in check. Own the lifecycle of Limited Time Only items (because who doesn’t love a good LTO?), managing listings, pricing, and supply for our Canadian restaurants. Keep everyone in the loop with clear progress updates and engaging presentations using tools like Microsoft Teams. Lead and develop your team with coaching, feedback, and growth opportunities—because people matter. And of course, pitch in on other duties as they come up.
The Wendy’s Company has formed a cooperative (Co-op) to provide supply chain services for all Wendy’s restaurants in North America. Quality Supply Chain Cooperative, Inc. (QSCC) sources and contracts to purchase items and services necessary for the successful operation of a Wendy’s restaurant. The Co-op (QSCC) is a separate corporation with governance oversight from an elected Board of Directors representing all franchisees and The Wendy’s US Company restaurants. QSCC Canada reports to QSCC U.S and are considered Wendy’s Restaurants of Canada employees leased to QSCC - US.

Pay Range: CAD 105,000.00 - CAD 184,000.00 Annually

The base pay range for this position is listed below. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and budget for the open position and also may vary depending on the candidate’s job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other relevant factors. This range does not include an estimated value for any benefits, bonus, or other incentives that may be applicable based on position. The target annual bonus for this role is 20% of annualized base salary, based on actual company and personal performance.
NOTE: Wendy’s benefits, bonus, and other incentives are governed by the applicable legal plans and policies and, where appropriate, may be subject to Board approval an individual award agreement terms. Those documents supersede all other information regarding Wendy’s benefits, bonus, and other incentives. Wendy’s retains the right to amend or terminate its plans and policies at its sole discretion, in accordance with applicable plans, policies and laws.

Responsibilities
- Lead the daily workflow related to projects and their development using established standards, processes and tools. Maintain compliance with applicable laws, regulations and policies, while pursuing continuous process improvement and best practices.
- Serve as a liaison with cross-functional partners, including procurement, distribution & logistics, suppliers and Wendy’s marketing and R&D teams, to ensure that product and program goals are met.
- Anticipate and respond to project issues that may impede project delivery. Partner with team members such as QSCC supply chain team, suppliers, and Wendy’s cross-functional partners to coordinate solutions. Escalate as needed to manage budgeted obsolescence and assurance costs.
- Lead management of the procurement item lifecycle for “Limited Time Only” SKUs, including listing, pricing, and supplier management, partnering with category (procurement) manager as needed to assure supply for restaurants in Canada.
- Monitor project progress, drafting and distributing periodic progress reports for leadership and stakeholders. Leverage virtual and in-person tools, including Microsoft Teams, to communicate information through email and presentations.
- Manage and develop team member(s). Provide leadership and guidance to team members by setting clear expectations, offering regular feedback, and fostering professional growth. Ensure effective performance management, skill development, and career progression through coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

What We Expect From You
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field strongly preferred. Certificate(s) in project management and Six Sigma a plus.
- 5+ years of project or program management experience, ideally in the restaurant or related industry.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including influencing, and conflict management
- Strong time management skills, including an inherent sense of urgency
- Experience working with cross-functional partners to prioritize and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite; especially Excel. PowerBI a plus.
- Experience with demand planning and allocation strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Knowledge of project management processes
- Experience working in the restaurant industry a plus!
- People management experience a plus
