We are hiring a Protective Services Guard for our locations in Prince George, BC.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying theft, mischief, and fraud.
  • Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.
  • Observing, meeting and greeting customers.
  • Approaching situations with a customer-first mindset.
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor when dealing with the public, staff, and law enforcement agencies.
  • Conducting security audits of the building and assets.
  • Performing arrests, ask to pays, and product recoveries.
  • Adhering to all company policies and procedures.
  • Documenting all evidence and typing clear and concise reports as required.


You have:

  • A valid BC Security Worker’s Licence with Security Guard endorsement.
  • Reliable transportation with the ability to travel between various store locations.
  • Solid decision-making skills with the ability to make quick decisions under difficult circumstances.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with minimal supervision.
  • Integrity, enthusiasm, and willingness to Go the Extra Mile.
  • Valid Advanced Security Training/AST (considered an asset).
  • Fluency in a second language (considered an asset).
  • Open availability (considered an asset).

Compensation Details:

$20.00 - $26.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
