The salary range for this position is $54,700 - $91,200. The posted salary range represents the expected hiring range for PwC locations in major city centres. Given our national recruiting approach, ranges may vary for positions in other locations. At PwC Canada, base salary is determined by your skills, experience, qualifications and work location. In addition to base salary, eligible employees may have opportunities to participate in variable incentive pay programs which are designed to reward individual and firm-wide achievements. We are committed to offering competitive compensation and adhere to all relevant pay transparency legislation. Meaningful work you’ll be part of
As a Senior Associate in PwC Private Tax, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve business issues, deliver high quality client service and operational efficiency. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Helping develop corporate restructuring plans, tax planning and tax strategies that meet clients’ needs
- Being involved in business sales, mergers and acquisitions
- Liaising with the various stakeholders involved in a file (the client, lawyers, accountants, the internal team, etc.)
- Conducting and documenting tax analyses
- Sharing technical knowledge and experience with other team members at all levels

- Master’s degree in Tax or Levels I, II and III of the CPA In-depth Tax Course, either in progress or complete
- Relevant experience in an accounting firm, law firm, or any other relevant organization
- The successful candidate requires fluency in English, in addition to French as they will be required to support or collaborate with English-speaking clients, colleagues and/or stakeholders during the course of their employment with PwC Canada
