On behalf of our Public sector client, Affinity is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to support a digital permitting modernization initiative with a focus on functional and integration testing across a web-based citizen portal and a back-end permitting management system. The role emphasizes manual testing and collaboration within Agile teams to ensure high-quality service delivery. The QA professional will contribute to improving operational efficiency and business processes through effective validation, testing, and quality assurance practices.

- Review and provide feedback on user stories, including acceptance criteria
- Write test cases
- Prepare and validate test data as required
- Execute test cases, including defect reporting
- QA status reporting
- Participate in daily stand-ups and relevant sprint ceremonies
- Web applications (ideally municipal permitting portals)
- Jira
- Agile delivery
- Scrum methodology
- Quality assurance methodology for software development
- AMANDA Land Management system
- Playwright & TypeScript authoring
- Microsoft Copilot
