The Quality Assurance Tester will work as part of a team responsible for testing a variety of internal and third-party applications needed to support the business such as billing and point of sale systems and mobile applications. This role will participate in the requirements analysis process to ensure validation and verification, creation and execution of tests based on system requirements and user journeys. Responsible for maintaining a repository of test artifacts to enable demonstration of system and component compliance and create clear and meaningful defect/incident reports while assisting the team in defect resolution. Working closely with vendors, business analysts, and project teams, the position will focus on implementing QA processes to reduce effort and increase efficiency and ensure all issues are identified, logged, and resolved effectively.
The ideal candidate is a technical problem solver and planner who demonstrates a high level of autonomy, strong attention to detail, excellent communicator, capability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities, and maintains structure and organization in daily work activities.

What Will Your Job Look Like?
- Collaborate with software development teams to understand project requirements and prepare comprehensive test cases.
- Work closely with vendors, business analysts, and project teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Design and execute test cases and scripts to evaluate functionality, usability, and performance of applications.
- Analyze and compare system behavior against expected outcomes and key metrics based on business and technical requirements. Identify issues, suggest system improvements, and perform repeated test executions to address identified problems.
- Participate in and contribute to internal design reviews of testing materials.
- Re-execute test cases to confirm bug resolutions and verify software correctness.
- Maintain thorough test documentation, including test plans and reports.
- Engage in Agile-Scrum development processes, offering feedback for continuous improvement.
- Stay up to date with the latest testing tools, techniques, and strategies.
- Education: Degree or diploma in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in functional testing, ideally with CRM and POS solutions.
- At least 1 year of experience in app testing and 1 year of experience with automation testing.
- Manual Testing: Proficient in manual testing techniques.
- Functional Testing: Proficient in functional testing techniques.
- Automation Tools: Familiarity with automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, and BDD etc.
- UI Testing: Good understanding of UI testing principles.
- New Functionality & Regression Testing: Experience in developing & maintaining test plans and test suites.
- Programming: Basic knowledge of any programming language is a plus.
- Test Design and Execution: Strong ability to plan, design, write, and execute test cases and scripts.
- Bug Tracking Tools: Experience with bug-tracking tools like Jira, Bugzilla, or QC.
- Agile Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
- Telecom industry knowledge.
- Basic understanding of API Testing using Postman or similar tool.
- Basic understanding of Core Java concepts.
