The Role
Contributes to the overall success of the Payments & Core Banking Engineering globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

The Role
Contributes to the overall success of the Payments & Core Banking Engineering globally ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the development and maintenance of automated test suites.
- Debug and test automation codebase, ensuring high-quality standards.
- Document and test new software applications, providing detailed reports.
- Research, investigate, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and mentor junior team members.
- Approach and solve high-level problems with strategic solutions.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and drive innovation within the team.
- Work within a team of approximately 5 to 7 cross-functional individuals.
- Team located in Toronto, Canada.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related area.
- Extensive experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript).
- Advanced proficiency with Selenium, Robot, Postman, and related tools.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Ability to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Payments and SWIFT Domain Knowledge are an asset (SWIFT, FED, ISO20022)
- Exposure to Google-based AI tools is a plus
- You’ll join a team focused on building cloud platforms as products, enabling delivery teams across the enterprise rather than acting as a centralized gatekeeper or operating within a narrow delivery focus. This role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies, problem domains, and stakeholders.
