Summary of Role:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for providing positive & inspiring leadership to a team of Retail Account Managers to effectively drive retail & service performance. This role is responsible for meeting & exceeding established sales goals through strategic business planning, identifying & responding to opportunities that build market share long term, as well as maximize sales in the short term. The Regional Sales Manager will work to increase sales growth by region, by territory & by retail door for all retail partners while recruiting, coaching & motivating all field talent. This role is based in Vancouver, British Columbia.
What You’ll Do:
Drive Results
- Develop strategic plans for retail & service sales growth based on company forecasting & objectives on an ongoing basis to build brand awareness.
- Collaborate with Leadership & Accounts team to establish sales & productivity goals for assigned territory, measure individual & team success on weekly, monthly & yearly basis.
- Communicate sales results measuring against objectives to Retail Account Manager team in assigned territory; assess & adjust goals as necessary.
- Identify business opportunities through in store brand rank & develop strategies to increase rank & trend ahead of store and Circana date trends.
- Work with Field Sales Director to review retail & service sales results, establish short- and long-term territory strategies, & team support.
Business Management
- Work closely with Retail Account Managers to identify & manage business-building opportunities within each region to ensure achievement of sales & comp door growth.
- Regularly recap & communicate regional successes and plans to Field Sales Director.
- Monitor Brow Bar staffing & propose staffing changes based on productivity & business needs.
- Monitor Retail Account Managers schedules & collaborate on effective time planning.
- Conduct regular territory reviews to maximize all regional activations & uncover opportunities.
- Manage all retail employee relations concerns in partnership with Field Sales Director & HRBP.
- Schedule & conduct pre-planned business reviews meetings with district retail contacts.
- Plan & manage personal schedule a minimum of 6 weeks in advance.
Leadership
- Build a successful Retail Account Manager & Brow & Beauty Expert team.
- Teach, coach, motivate & develop team.
- Promote best practices, improve sales skills & performance & provide platform for idea-sharing.
- Support team in creating business reviews & actions plans for retail partners.
- Support team with Brow Bar recruitment.
Qualifications:
- 6+ years of experience in a sales role.
- Experience managing a remote team, passionate & tenacious about building result driven teams.
- Strong ability to analyze data to drive exceptional business results.
- Experiencing managing a budget.
- Experience with recruitment & headcount management.
- Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
- Exceptional collaborator & influencer at all levels of the organization.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, presentation & negotiation skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
- Possession of valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle required.
- Flexible to travel within Canada and the USA required.
- Flexibility regarding work hours.
