About The Role
CBRE is looking for a Research Analyst to join our Toronto Downtown branch as a part of the research team that supports the Toronto Office Leasing and Capital Market teams. This is a fully in-person role and requires someone in Toronto that will work out of offices at 145 King St W.
As a CBRE Research Analyst, you’ll support the research team by performing certain regular tasks around the collection and analysis of core commercial real estate data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the team's production and delivery of research materials.

About The Role
CBRE is looking for a Research Analyst to join our Toronto Downtown branch as a part of the research team that supports the Toronto Office Leasing and Capital Market teams. This is a fully in-person role and requires someone in Toronto that will work out of offices at 145 King St W.
As a CBRE Research Analyst, you’ll support the research team by performing certain regular tasks around the collection and analysis of core commercial real estate data, as well as a range of activities that contribute to and support the team's production and delivery of research materials.
What You’ll Do
- Create and analyze market statistics and corresponding materials, including the production of client presentations and reports.
- Coordinate and complete ad hoc broker requests.
- Gather and produce accurate real estate-related information to determine market projections and trends.
- Track and analyze market trends; produce ad-hoc and quarterly written reports based on developing trends.
- Answer various zoning and official plan-related questions usually pertaining to permitted uses.
- Assist in enforcing and adhering to due diligence procedures related to the quality and production of real estate data, quarterly statistics and related reports.
- Maintain CBRE's internal leasing/sales database by gathering and inputting data on newly available properties, transactions, tenants, tenants in the market, and new developments.
- Obtain and record comparable lease and sale transactions for property specific appraisals, valuation and research.
- Establish key contacts in the real estate industry, including with owners, landlords, external brokers and researchers, and clients.
- Other duties may be assigned.
- Bachelor's degree from a recognized college or university, preferably in real estate, economics, finance, or geography, with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- High attention to detail, with strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.
- Demonstrates good judgment in applying company policies and is dependable to deliver high-quality work when handed time-sensitive tasks.
- Resourceful and proactive self-motivated individual.
- Possess a positive work attitude and ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to handle and manipulate large amounts of data. Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).
