How You’ll Succeed
- Provide Thorough Cleaning within the Retirement Home:
- Receive assignments, gather materials, and transport supplies to work area.
- Perform a variety of cleaning tasks including:
- Resident room cleaning as per assigned schedule.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and shampooing carpets.
- Spot cleaning walls, windows, and doors.
- Dusting and sanitizing furniture, shelves, and woodwork.
- Emptying wastebaskets and rearranging furniture.
- Daily cleaning and disinfecting of bathrooms, including floors, fixtures, and walls.
- Prepare rooms for new occupants, ensuring they are tour-ready at all times.
- Provide Resident Privacy and Room Preparation:
- Ensure residents' privacy is respected during cleaning duties.
- Prepare rooms for new occupants according to prescribed procedures, ensuring they are tour-ready at all times.
- Perform any other assigned duties as needed.
- You are compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work that supports seniors in living life fully
- You are detailed-oriented and have and have strong customer service skills and ability to effectively communicate with residents and staff.

- You must be legally eligible to work in Canada or have a valid work/study permit
- You must successfully pass a Vulnerable Sector Check
