You will be the face of the company in your territory, actively marketing, demonstrating, and selling new and used agricultural equipment, and large property/landscape equipment. Your role involves promoting a range of company goods and services while keeping customers informed about special promotions and events. You’ll build strong relationships with both new and existing customers by understanding their needs and ensuring satisfaction with our products and services. Staying up to date with industry trends, product knowledge, and attending training sessions and trade shows will help you provide expert guidance and support, ensuring our customers receive the best solutions for their farming, turf, and property needs.

Placement within the wage range is based on skills, experience and qualifications.
Applicants with more or less experience and qualifications may be placed outside the salary range.
This Sales position will have a commission component as well.
CAD $55,000.00 - CAD $80,000.00 /Yr.

- Market, demonstrate, and sell new and used agricultural equipment, and large property/landscape equipment.
- Promote any other goods or services that the Company offers. Be informed of company promotions or special events in all departments.
- Profile new and existing customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with products or services.
- Keep abreast of business trends that will affect customer purchases.
- Attend John Deere or in-house training seminars, product introductions, and farm or turf trade shows.
- Stay current on product knowledge, features, and benefits of all equipment potentially saleable by the Company.
- Competitive self-starter with discipline and goal orientation.
- Excellent communication and listening skills.
- Strong organization and time management.
- Familiarity with farming practices, GPS, and Precision Agriculture.
- Knowledge of agricultural equipment and farming communities.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to work rotating weekends.
- Experience in agricultural sales or customer-facing roles.
- Familiarity with John Deere products.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
