As a Sales Team Lead, you take pride in representing Baxter and our products. What You'll Be Doing

  • Achieve and handle sales targets through effective management of existing business and driving growth opportunities through the pipeline.
  • Accelerate GTA region sales growth through active management of the sales pipeline and the management of key opportunities.
  • Develop an integrated regional business plan including targeting, forecasting and resource allocation. Reporting on the progress of said plan monthly, quarterly, annually.
  • Drive forecast accuracy through thorough supervision of the opportunity funnel and performing regular 1:1 territory review with TBM's and ASR's.
  • Ensure alignment between marketing initiatives and effective sales execution.
  • Field visits with Territory Business Managers and Associate Sales Representatives to provide direct coaching and feedback, as well as to help strategize and navigate the sales process.
  • Complete monthly development check-in calls with each employee to discuss what is working and what is not, and to align development goals and progression towards goals.
  • Collaborate with key clinical and economic customers in regional key accounts to strengthen the partnership between key customers and Advanced Surgery sales, and leadership teams.
  • Lead region SSO sales strategy and consult on regional contracts and pricing quotations.
  • Optimally lead and supervise team selling expenses to remain within an allocated budget.
  • Recruit, interview, and hire hard-working sales professionals as the need arises for backfill and well as incremental sales positions.
  • Ensure all team members align with all travel policies, interactions with Health Care Providers, interactions with competitors, and confidential information. Along with ensuring the on-time completion of all training requirements, as well as adherence to all regulatory/ad prom polices and procedures.

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience selling in the medical device space.
  • Relevant sales experience selling in the Operating Room environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as presentation skills.
  • Strong business insight and knowledge of sales processes along with strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Individual must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate to it. Familiarity with posted territory is desired especially in the Toronto and GTA area.
  • At least 75% in territory travel is required with some overnight travel.
  • At least 3 years of sales management experience within the medical device space is preferred.
