About the Role

Raise is seeking a mid-level Salesforce Dev/Ops for our Salesforce back-office ecosystem. In this role, you will spend roughly 70% of your time hands-on-keyboard architecting and writing complex custom APEX code, and 30% acting as an internal SME on back-office operational workflows as they relate to Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • This is not a plug-and-play role. You'll be joining a growing team where some processes are mature and others need to be built from scratch.
  • You should be comfortable operating independently and as a team lead: defining workflows, gathering advice for decisions, and occasionally stepping into light project coordination to keep work moving across a developer team.
  • Partnering with a Product Owner and alongside our internal technical and operational teams, you will build the backend APEX architecture that powers our custom Salesforce instances, Experience Cloud apps, and Lightning Web Component (LWC) interfaces.
  • You will directly support a dedicated front-end team, translating Figma mockups into viable Salesforce solutions, unblocking their UI work, and managing the release pipeline via VS Code.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of deep, hands-on experience with APEX, VisualForce, Experience Cloud, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).
  • Strong understanding of how front-end components interact with Salesforce backends.
  • Ability to evaluate Figma mockups against Salesforce constraints and guide UI developers accordingly.
  • Strong proficiency with VS Code, SFDX, version control (Git/Microsoft Azure DevOps), and CI/CD best practices.
  • Advanced SOQL/SOSL proficiency. Deep understanding of Salesforce data modeling, object relationships, and platform governor limits.
  • Good understanding of APIs and integration best practices.
  • Experience mapping and understanding operational workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability to take a holistic view of an existing Salesforce org — leveraging what's already built rather than duplicating fields, objects, or logic.
  • Comfort working in environments where processes and documentation may be incomplete. You can define a path when one doesn't exist and bring structure to ambiguity.
