The work:

Help clients understand best practices so they can do more with SAP

Spot strategies, risks and options, and then recommend approaches that sidestep problems and help clients meet their needs

Lead, coach and advise project staff in addition to managing their performance (depending on the project)

Give clients options for designs using prototypes

Set up and test the SAP system; understand and apply SAP methodologies

Work with clients and stakeholders to make sure they get where they want to go

Use your business smarts to kick-start transformation programs or improvement programs, whether domain- or platform-led

This role is in our local ATC (Montreal) and will require on-site work 2-3 days per week.

Here’s what you need:

Minimum 8 years of SAP transformation, technical advisory or consulting experience

Minimum 5 years of SAP Basis experience with at least 3 implementation life cycles

Minimum 1 year of experience as a Project, Large Workstream, or Client Lead on a large SAP transformational project with on- and off-shore resources

Experience leading basis admins as a lead for implementation and support

Experience working with SAP RISE

Upgrades using SAP tools like SUM/DMO

Implementation and Support experience in multiple SAP products in addition to ECC and S/4HANA

Hands-on experience with Basis activities to enable integration

Hands-on experience with integrating with SAP BTP and SAP SaaS applications

Transport methodology and defining transport paths with N+1 landscapes

Coordination with development, integration, and security teams as needed for basis tasks

Creation and updating of architecture diagrams for SAP Basis components

Support troubleshooting activities for SAP Basis issues

Bachelor’s degree or completion of a college program in a related discipline

English is required for this position as this role will be aligned to multi-national teams where English is the common language across our Global Enterprise. Due to the significant high volume of interactions with these English-speaking multi-national teams, which is inherent to this position, it is not possible to reorganize the company's activities to avoid this requirement.

Scripting with UNIX, system monitoring, batch schedules
