Seeking motivated and reliable
students to assist with a variety of grounds and maintenance duties, including:
- Picking up and removing refuse
- Grass cutting
- Trimming, planting, watering, digging, raking
- Moving furniture and minor cleaning duties
- Supporting staff with additional maintenance-related tasks as required
- Currently enrolled in secondary school, or working toward a diploma or degree from an
- Strong teamwork, organization, interpersonal, and oral communication skills
- Ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively with staff and supervisors
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence (G1 acceptable)
- Experience using grass-cutting equipment is considered an asset
- Must hold a current, Board-approved, WHMIS Certificate
- Ability to preform some heavy lifting (e.g., moving picnic tables)
