2.0 Temporary Full-time Seasonal Student Positions - Summer

Location: Timmins

Anticipated Start date: June 29, 2026

Anticipated End date: August 21, 2026

Vacancy Details: 40 hours/week - 7:00am to 3:00pm

This posting is for a new position

Seeking motivated and reliable

students to assist with a variety of grounds and maintenance duties, including:

  • Picking up and removing refuse
  • Grass cutting
  • Trimming, planting, watering, digging, raking
  • Moving furniture and minor cleaning duties
  • Supporting staff with additional maintenance-related tasks as required

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in secondary school, or working toward a diploma or degree from an

accredited college or university

  • Strong teamwork, organization, interpersonal, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively and effectively with staff and supervisors
  • Valid Ontario driver’s licence (G1 acceptable)
  • Experience using grass-cutting equipment is considered an asset
  • Must hold a current, Board-approved, WHMIS Certificate
  • Ability to preform some heavy lifting (e.g., moving picnic tables)

over: $17.60/hour
