Do you hold your ASP card (General Health and Safety on Construction Sites)? We want to meet you for the chance to build a career in security.

No experience required — we offer free training and support to obtain your security guard licence (BSP).

Already have your BSP licence? Perfect; you’ll be able to start even sooner!

Your Role as a Security Guard

Every day is different. You may be called upon to:

• Control access to facilities and greet the public
• Conduct regular patrols both indoors and outdoors
• Respond quickly to situations and incidents in the field
• Monitor security systems and write reports
• Work a rotating schedule typical of the unionized security field (days, evenings, nights, weekends and statutory holidays, on rotation)

What We’re Looking For

• Professional attitude, reliability and maturity
• Customer service orientation and good communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk or sit for long periods, regardless of the weather
• Basic computer skills (emails, report writing)
• Eligibility for a Secret-level security clearance (PSPC) – two pieces of government-issued ID required
• BSP licence: a strong asset (if you don’t have it, we’ll help you obtain it through our free training)
