The expected salary for this role is $60,000 to $65,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.

About The Opportunity…

As an integral part of the “we can do that” operation, this position is responsible to perform all tasks related to accounts receivables and payables. Specifically:

  • 35 hours per week; with the possibility of working up to 40 hours at peak times/month end
  • Reconcile accounts and schedules
  • Assist controller with preparing financial reports and schedules
  • Submit government remittances
  • Maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory requirements
  • Ensure all payroll information and records are maintained; supports internal and external payroll audits
  • Recieve and process deal paperwork and verify compliance
  • Post vehicle sales and purchases
  • Submit daily deposits, prepare cheques/EFTs for payoffs, referrals, refunds etc
  • Post licensing transactions, scheudle cleaning at month end and reconcile MTO transcations
  • Process floorplan payments
  • Act as a back-up for payable posting

About You…

Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in accounting administration and processing, including:

  • 3+ years of proven accounting experience
  • post-secondary education in accounting or finance
  • proficiency working with ERP systems (ie. CDK/Reynolds)
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel
  • ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
  • ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
  • strong attention to detail, organized and strategic
  • ability to maintain professionalism
  • ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
  • a desire to work in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
