Contract type: Full time

What it's like to be a Northbridge Senior Actuarial Analyst
Our Senior Actuarial Analysts are known in the organization for being the experts in providing insights to many teams, including claims, finance, and underwriting; allowing us the ability to best serve our customers while mitigating risk. They use their strong actuarial knowledge to analyse trends, identifying emerging risks and ensuring pricing strategies align with business objectives. The team leverages data-driven insights to enhance rate adequacy, competitiveness, and profitability across the commercial portfolio.
They are passionate about digging deep into the data to uncover meaningful insights and providing their take on what we should do next – this doesn’t just mean being good with numbers – it also means being able to explain complex findings in a clear, compelling way to leaders without an actuarial background. Working in collaboration with other actuaries and data scientists within our team, there are opportunities to utilize advanced analytics, and predictive modeling to refine pricing structure and ensure that Northbridge stays on the cutting edge in this competitive industry.
