- Report to the Product Owner, Analytics and Business Intelligence.
- Work in collaboration with various teams including business leads, data, analytics, software development, and the EPMO to support major corporate initiatives.
- Engage with subject matter experts to discover, capture and assess project requirements and produce required documentation including business requirements, technical requirements, user stories and workflows.
- Liaison with the development teams and assist in the defining of user stories, managing the backlog, reviewing the requirements, and removing obstacles with the team, and attending agile meetings.
- Gather, define and document business and technical requirements.
- Research and propose processes or technology-based solutions to meet business needs.
- Create clear and concise documentation for various project artifacts and processes.
- Help manage requests for new technology and data solutions or enhancements to existing technology.
- Analyze the effectiveness of existing processes and systems, then develop improvement strategies.
- Plan and coordinate technical/user testing, deployment, client/user acceptance and reporting.
- Lead or support projects.
- You have a college diploma in information technology, business or an equivalent.
- You’ll get bonus points if you have BA certification.
- You have at least five years under your belt, ideally in a data, analytics, or reporting-focused environment.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment is an asset
- You have strong analytical, problem-solving solving and decision-making skills, as well as demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
