Position Details
Office of the Chief Information Officer – Government of Newfoundland and Labrador
Reporting to the Manager of Design & Delivery, under the guidance of a Team Lead, the Senior ERP-HR Functional Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation and development of an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) - Human Resources (HR) solution for the Government of Newfoundland Labrador, currently Oracle PeopleSoft. With extensive experience and knowledge of Human Resources and Workforce Management, Payroll, Benefits, Absence Management, Time and Labor and Self Service (Manager and Employee) in this role, you will be responsible for the following:
- Acting as a liaison between the OCIO’s business clients and its technical solution teams to troubleshoot and resolve ERP-HR related issues and to design and configure solutions to meet new business needs;
- Collaborating with stakeholders and performing business-focused analysis ranging from high-level business architecture to detailed requirements and business rules;
- Consulting with users and management to analyze and map business processes to delivered application functionality;
- Leading functional quality assurance efforts to verify that the delivered solution meets its business requirements (e.g., requirements-based testing, user acceptance testing);
- Providing training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of the ERP-HR system;
- Maintaining documentation of ERP-HR configurations and processes and staying updated with the latest system updates and ERP-HR trends and technologies;
- Performing other related duties or develop other related deliverables, as required
Screening Criteria
- Completion of a degree or diploma in Information Technology or Business Administration (equivalences will be considered)
- Significant experience as an ERP-HR Functional Analyst with comprehensive responsibility for Human Resources, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor, Absence Management, Workforce Administration, and Self-Service functionalities.
- Experience engaging with multiple clients, stakeholders and technical groups at all organizational levels
- Experience in transitioning on-premise ERP solutions to Oracle cloud platforms (asset)
- Experience with PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) 9.2 application (asset)
